Warranty Procedure

At Foxygen, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality products. However, in some cases, issues outside our control may occur and a warranty claim may be required.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

To process a warranty claim, please follow the steps below:

  • Complete the Warranty Claim Form below.
  • Have your proof of purchase available, as this will be required.
  • A member of our team will contact you to discuss your claim.
  • When requested, you must send the item to us for testing.
    • You are responsible for arranging shipping.
    • If the product is deemed faulty and covered under warranty, reasonable shipping costs will be refunded.
    • If the product is not eligible for warranty, you will be charged for the bench test and return shipping. These fees must be paid before the item is returned to you.
    • Fault-finding costs are listed below.

Before Submitting a Warranty Claim

Please check the following before proceeding:

  • Is the issue caused by something external to the product?
  • Is the product still within the warranty period?

After Submitting a Warranty Claim

Once we receive your item, a member of our technical team will carry out a full bench test to identify the fault. After testing is complete, we will advise you of the outcome and confirm whether the warranty claim is valid.

Please note that bench testing is a chargeable service, but the fee will be waived if the item is confirmed as a valid warranty claim.

  • Not faulty: £30.00

Things to Check Before Making a Battery Warranty Claim

In-Store Battery Testing

The most effective option is to bring your battery into one of our stores. This allows us to test the battery using modern diagnostic equipment and generate a detailed test report.

Once testing is complete, a member of our technical team will explain the results and confirm whether the battery is covered under warranty.

  • If the battery is covered by warranty, a replacement battery will be issued.
  • No refunds, credits, or exchanges are available as part of the warranty process.
  • If the battery is not faulty or not covered under warranty, a testing fee may apply, and the battery will be returned to you.

What Can Void My Battery Warranty?

All batteries include a minimum one-year limited warranty from the date of original purchase (unless otherwise stated). This warranty is non-transferable and covers defects in workmanship and/or materials only.

The following situations may void a battery warranty (this list is not exhaustive):

  • Abuse, misuse, improper installation, improper maintenance, or modification (including removal of the battery lid)
  • Incorrect application
  • Physical damage, including broken or melted terminals
  • General wear and tear
  • Improper charging
  • Failure caused by constant over-charging or under-charging
  • Battery voltage below 10.5V (fully discharged and BMS has prevented further discharge)

Battery warranties do not cover batteries that have been incorrectly installed or used for purposes other than those intended. Any alteration to the battery casing or physical structure will void the warranty.
